He holds a BSc in Management from Claflin University, an MBA from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Liberal Arts, History from Harvard University, Extension School and a PhD in Human Resource & Leadership Development from Louisiana State University.

Simone T. A. Phipps, PhD, is the Co-Managing Partner of Sankofa Innovators LLC. With extensive experience in leadership development, creativity, and innovation training, she has helped individuals successfully prepare for university and graduate school, explore career pathways, and develop the skills needed to thrive professionally. Dr. Phipps also works with organizations to design and deliver impactful training and development initiatives. Her approach blends academic insight with practical guidance, empowering people and institutions to reach their full potential. She holds a BSc in Management Information Science from Claflin University, an MBA from Ohio University, and a PhD in Human Resource & Leadership Development from Louisiana State University.
